• Prior to joining the firm, she spent four years managing a boutique business, where she was responsible for end-to-end operations, including financial management, budgeting, pricing, supplier coordination, and client delivery. This experience has given her a practical understanding of business performance and value drivers.
• With additional training in accounting and project management, Amy brings a disciplined yet adaptable approach to corporate finance, underpinned by strong analytical and communication skills.

• Lerato joined Vunani in 2022. She is a qualified digital marketer, with over 10 years experience in front office administration. Her background consists of extensive experience in overseeing administrative and operational functions for executive-level management teams and department directors.
• She is backed a blend of creative talent, technical proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, strategic communication skills and Soft skills

• Sa’eed joined the team in 2024 as a Trainee. Prior to joining the team he was employed at an online betting company, affiliated with Vunani Capital Partners. He is a registered Sponsor that has completed the SDP program.
• He was responsible for the digital marketing, social media and product promotion and has experience in market research, analysis and reporting.
• Sa’eed has completed 30 valuations since joining the team.

• Yongama graduated at the University of Johannesburg in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Science (CTA).
• He completed his audit articles at Ernst and Young in 2023, and  qualified as a CA(SA).
• Yongama has worked on various, M&A, Capital raise , Due Diligence and Valuation assignments.
• In these various assignments , Yongama has completed over 60 valuations since joining the corporate finance team.

• Busi holds a BCom (Hons) in Economics and Econometrics (Cum Laude) and began her career with the National Treasury of South Africa as a Trainee Economist in the Economic Policy Division, where she spent two years gaining exposure to fiscal policy and economic research.
• She later joined Vunani Securities as a Trainee Equity Analyst  focusing on the  retail sector , before moving to the Corporate Finance team in February 2021.
• Busi is currently an Associate and has been involved in a range of transactions, including restructurings, capital raises, disposals, valuations, and due diligence assignments across multiple sectors.

• Zizo Maraule leads our Sponsor division, bringing over 7 years of experience in corporate finance and 4 years in equity trading. She began her career at Vunani Securities in 2015 as a Trainee Equity Trader, progressing to Junior Equity Trading.
• Zizo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies. Her expertise spans various sectors, encompassing corporate finance transactions and sponsor work.
• A qualified JSE Approved Executive, completed the JSE Sponsor Development Program exam, demonstrating her expertise in regulatory compliance and sponsorship. Zizo been involved in various transactions across multiple sectors, including delisting two companies on JSE main board and listing of one of the first actively managed ETFs on the JSE.

• Peter is a versatile corporate financier beginning his career at Citibank working as an Equities Research Associate and thereafter working for a boutique Investment banking firm in the  M&A space.
• He most recently worked for Siyakha  Capital Advisors being involved in Private equity and Capital raising transactions across  multiple sectors.
• He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Rhodes University  and Honours in Financial Planning  from Nelson Mandela University.
• He is an approved JSE valuation expert and executive with extensive experience in listings, due diligence and transaction structuring.
• Over his career, he has successfully completed more than 100 valuation and financial modelling assignments. He currently oversees private equity clients’ annual audit valuations and works closely with auditors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to regulatory and governance requirements.

Zukile is Co-Head of Vunani Corporate Finance (VCF), where he leads origination, capital deployment and regional expansion across South Africa and the SADC region. He has led the origination and execution of complex transactions across M&A, structured finance, BEE structuring and capital raising, advising corporates, investors and funding institutions across multiple sectors.

He is the architect of VCF’s mining advisory and investment platform, Ernalu, and plays a central role in developing the firm’s principal investment strategy and capital platforms.

Zukile has completed advanced training in investment banking and valuation through the New York Institute of Finance, the London School of Economics and GIBS, and is an approved JSE executive and valuation expert.

Patricia is a seasoned corporate finance executive with over 15 years of experience spanning capital markets, transaction advisory, and regulatory compliance across South Africa and the broader African region. She brings deep expertise in the full transaction lifecycle —from origination and structuring through to execution and post-transaction management —across mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital raises, asset disposals, and exchange listings.

As Executive Director at Vunani Corporate Finance, Trish leads the firm’s business development function, the JSE sponsor services practice and leads the Vunani Corporate Finance team across all SADC regions. In this capacity, she manages a diverse portfolio of listed and unlisted clients, providing strategic advisory across sectors including infrastructure, real estate, financial services, and resources. Her transaction experience spans delistings, structured finance mandates, and capital raises across multiple African exchanges, including the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Namibian Securities Exchange, Botswana Stock Exchange, Eswatini Stock Exchange and the Cape Town Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining Vunani, Trish spent seven years at JSE Limited as Corporate Finance Officer in the Issuer Regulation Division, where she served as a regulatory advisor to listed entities on compliance with JSE Listings Requirements, King IV governance, the Companies Act, and IFRS standards. Being a true entrepreneur at heart, before joining the JSE, Trish co-owned and ran a marketing and advisory firm in Cape Town with clients in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and Tanzania. Patricia has experience both working in and with large-scale organisations at decision-making levels.

Patricia holds a BCom Finance and a BCom Honours in Investment Management and has completed an MBA with Henley Business School. She is a recognised thought leader in corporate finance, as well as the listed space across the SADC region, and has chaired and spoken at several high-profile industry forums.
